This manual covers vocabulary that is needed for women and their particular medical conditions.
It had been mentioned to us on many occasions that women often become embarrassed by personal medical conditions and this is often made more difficult if there are also communication problems. Women with learning disabilities and/or language difficulties are often unable to express their concerns. This manual has been designed to help in these situations and therefore covers much of the vocabulary that would be needed when accompanying a client to a well woman clinic.
